In the territories of the Spanish and Portuguese empires including the Iberian Peninsula it continued, together with new styles, until the first decade of the 1800s.

Trivia[]

  • The stage is referred to in the game files in different filenames:
    • "Start ->Tyuzame" for both the introduction cutscene and when Torel and Chris start traversing the sea.
      • "Tyuzame" is the Japanese name for the sturgeon, a real-life sea creature that doesn't appear in the game.
    • "Success Course" and "Failure Course" for the different paths that the two would take depending on whether they save the diver from White Death.
    • Finally, "Chinsen 0" and "Chinsen 1" for the second half that takes place inside a sunken ship.
      • "Chinsen" means shipwreck in Japanese.
